Marketing StrategiesThe Key to Business SucessAlthough having a home business sounds like an ideal situation for mothers at home, downsized or outsourced workers, homeschooling families, and many in the creative arts, the reality is that having a great product or service is only one part of the entrepreneurial equation. The key to success-- even survival-- is marketing. Potential customers need to be able to find you and determine whether you are offering something that meets their needs or fulfils their wants. If you can't be found, people can't purchase your products or services. Even if you already have a customer base, you need to regularly remind them that you are still available, and that you have more to offer.
